Freeware Games Description: Oktagon comprises two separate octagonal puzzles. In the first, you must rearrange a set of four to eight irregular shapes to form an octagon. This is based on a puzzle in our shareware game Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine. In the second puzzle, you must rotate six concentric octagonal rings until all have the same orientation. The catch is that the rings are linked, so that rotating one also rotates one or two others.

Freeware Games Description: Free games and challenging puzzles are fun for games lovers. Cyclanoid is one of them, it is a set of challenging tile-based games and puzzles. The objective is to arrange the tiles in the center of the board to match the ones displayed along the game-area border. However, you move the tiles in groups of four or more by spinning them with a control located in the corner where four tiles touch. Similar to a 2D Rubik's Cube, Cyclanoid is harder than it looks since you must get the tiles aligned without disrupting your previous work. It also includes a built-in visual builder of puzzles for creating your own games. The graphics are attractive, and MIDI-based music and crisp digital sound effects add to the fun. Plus, an automated demo shows the movement options of the more complex games.

Freeware Games Description: Free games and jigsaw puzzles are fun for games lovers. AlterJig is one of them, it is a set of tile-based jigsaw games and puzzles. You select graphics supplied with the games or create your own puzzles from any bitmaps. When you select "new game", AlterJig scrambles the puzzles and challenges you to restore the pictures by rotating groups of four tiles to get the tiles back to their proper positions. Tile rotation is controlled by left and right mouse buttons. It sounds easier to solve than it is. There is a brief help file, but the demo mode helps you understand the games, which are pretty self-explanatory.
